The Strong Adventure Race: 6 & 12hr Events
This year we have two distances to challenge athletes as they wind their way through the Ocoee National Forest. The 6 hr event will be approx 25 miles; the 12hr event approx 50 miles. Both will include mountain biking, trail running, flatwater paddling, orienteering points and a few special surprises along the way. Basic navigational skills will be needed to complete the 6hr course; more challenging navigation will be utilized on the 12hr course.
Both courses are unsupported.
The Strong Adventure Race will benefit the North River Family YMCA & Aquatic Center's Strong Kids Campaign.

Team Format
Teams can be coed, all male, or all female. Only teams of three are allowed.
The elite category (eligible for cash prizes) for the race is the three
person coed team.
Prizes
1st - $500
2nd - $300
3rd - $200
Cash prizes will be available to the top three elite teams. ONLY elite teams are eligible for cash prizes.
The top team in the all female and all male categories will also receive prizes. Depending on sponsorship, we may go deeper with prizes in the male/female categories.
